A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun to avoid repetition and make sentences smoother.
Types of Pronouns:
1. Personal Pronouns
Personal pronouns refer to specific people or things.
Subjective: I, you, he, she, it, we, they
Objective: me, you, him, her, it, us, them
Possessive: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs
2. Reflexive Pronouns
Reflexive Pronouns refer back to the subject.
Eg. myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves
3. Demonstrative Pronouns
Demonstrative Pronouns Point to specific things.
Eg. this, that, these, those
4. Interrogative Pronouns
Interrogative Pronoun sed to ask questions.
Eg. who, whom, whose, which, what
5. Relative Pronouns
Relative Pronouns introduce relative clauses.
Eg. who, whom, whose, which, that
6. Indefinite Pronouns
Indefinite Pronouns refer to nonspecific people or things.
Eg. someone, anyone, everyone, no one, nobody, something, everything, each, few, many, several, etc.
7. Reciprocal Pronouns
Reciprocal Pronouns show mutual action.
Eg. each other, one another
8. Distributive Pronouns
Distributive Pronouns refer to members of a group separately.
Eg. each, either, neither
