Parts Of Speech - Pronoun   A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun to avoid repetition and make sentences smoother. Types of Pronouns : 1. Personal Pronouns   Personal pronouns refer to specific people or things. Proper Noun Special name of a particular person or place. Example: Amit, London 2. Common Noun General name of a person, place, or thing. Example: girl, city 3. Collective Noun Name of a group or collection. Example: team, bunch 4. Abstract Noun Name of a feeling, quality, or idea. Example: kindness, wisdom 5. Material Noun Name of a material or substance.
